Inventory Operations Lead (Full-Time)
My experience was truly disheartening. For starters, in today's job market, after dealing with retail for 4 years, I had no intention of going back, but if later down the road it leads me to being able to maneuver and pivot to something or somewhere I find more interest, I'll swallow my pride, and I did. For starters, I was contacted by a recruiter in California, and I am in the Midwest. Second, when I was contacted, the recruiter almost completely disappeared; even when I got turned down, he did not even respond. Lastly, when I had my interview with the individual I had my interview with, at the end of the interview, she did tell me the next steps. But even after all of my efforts of trying to reach out and contact the recruiter who actually started this entire process to begin with, I was wholeheartedly ghosted. Considering the size of the company, I don't see how you can have the heart to just ghost somebody when you contacted me. And as for the interviewer, how are you, Leadership of anywhere, and yet have the heart to ghost me, and then I didn't hear anything back for weeks, up until I more recently received the official denial email. I understand not finding interest in a candidate anymore because there is a mismatch, but I am a human being too. Just shows a lack of humility in who those individuals are as people.
