Disability Adviser
The manager on LinkedIn told me that I could apply for this back in May, so I sent an application and was contacted by the recruiter a few days later. After the initial phone screening, the recruiter sent an invite for the next round of interviews with the wrong name and job title in the email. I ignored the mistakes and prepared for the second interview. After a long lull in communication of almost two weeks, I got invited to the third and fourth interview rounds. After those finished, I got a generic rejection from the recruiter. A few weeks later, the job was reposted and taken down again. I ignored the first time it was reposted, but then I noticed it was reposted for the second time a few weeks. I asked the recruiter about it and just got another generic rejection, this time from the job portal. I reached out to the manager to ask if I could be reconsidered for the job, but her reply was not very constructive - Hello [name], yes, you are welcome to re-apply if you feel you meet the position qualifications Not only can I not re-apply, it sounded like she didn't even answer my question. The recruiter finally ended up replying to me at the end of the week and said that I cannot re-apply because my application was already processed. This was an enormous waste of time.
